Corazon de los Apus is a non profit organization that works with underprivileged children and families in an outer district of Cusco.
Our goal is to improve the children’s quality of life and give them better opportunities for the future.
Our volunteering program offers you the opportunity to do something meaningful during your trip. It is also a chance to get to know Peru authentically and to further your personal development.
In addition to volunteering, we also offer internships. At Corazón de los Apus or at other organizations here in Cusco. We have many opportunities and local contacts to help you find the internship you are looking for.
During your volunteer program or internship you can live directly with us. The income from this will be used exclusively to support the children of the project. There is the possibility to live with us in a cozy shared apartment (with Coco and Kat) or with a local family.
Besides volunteering and internships, we can also offer you some opportunities for spare time activities. Language courses (Spanish / Quechua), dance lessons (Salsa / Bachata) or a trip to the famous Machu Picchu or Rainbow Mountain ? We will be happy to help you find the right thing for you.
